Certification Course

Course Description

The PGTS Certification course provides instruction on the fundamentals of charitable gifts, estate planning, fiduciary responsibilities, and developing donor relationships among an organization’s constituency. The content is presented by experts currently working in the field and provides students with a basic understanding of planned giving and trust services work to help them assist their donors. This is a required course, and a key element, for all individuals to become certified to perform Planned Giving & Trust Services duties in the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The course consists of 54 lessons, each with required reading material, a video presentation, and a quiz. Many lessons, but not all, have a learning activity that applies what you have learned in the lesson and must be completed. To aid in your study a copy of the presenter’s PowerPoint presentation is made available for download within each lesson.
